40 seconds or so including a decent shot of Tomo with pythagoras. I was wedged in there VERY tightly so it was hard for me to turn to face Tomo, plus I had a monitor in front of me that totally blocked me from seeing Shan. So I didn't do a lot of vids!

Due to the fact it was about 100 degrees that day most of the kids pussed out and didnt wear stuff...but... I and some others were Dressed to the 9's... pimp as shit! haha. There were a lot of people actually...

When I get my pics back from the photo place, I will post them. however, none of them are live shots. Seeing as it was my first 30 seconds to mars show... I was so shocked and awed(haha) that I didn't even think to snap pics then.

For the most part, just like a normal 30stm concert. The bear was onstage and in the crowd. During June's performance he was walking around with a water bottle full of blood. Once 30stm were done playing, a bunch of balloons were let loose from ceiling and the guys posed for a group photo with the entire audience. They said it would they would post it on the web. Other than that though, it was just a regular concert in my opinion.

PICTURES! Muaha. I have some. Sadly I didn't have a memory card (damned Minneapolis cabbies) and so there aren't too many, but Emma got a shitload of them. Really GOOD ones too. I've got a couple videos, too, so once I get those up, we'll party.

 --edit---

The videos are actually... really crap quality. I had to have them on the lowest setting in order to still have room for photos. So... hm. And the sound is screwed up in some of them, but I think the camera is still okay. It better be.

As for details? We'll give you sketchy, point-by-point details.

-Showed up: approximately 10:00am. Preceded by other fans who had arrived at 7:30am. We were second in line. Awesome.

-Vans/trailers/bus arrived shortly after, around the corner.

-Hung out. Got food at Applebees. Bloodied up the kids in front of us in line and then went and got changed into our own fancy duds. Wandered back.

-Post-blood, pre-changing, some guys showed up from the Star Tribune and interviewed us. Asked about the band. Etc. Many photos taken including some iffy crotch/breast shots. We were told they were for his personal collection. Ick.

-Shannon wandered over, saw the blood. Told the ones in blood they looked awesome. Or amazing. Either or. He wandered off to the Starbucks up the street.

-Gawkage by people driving by. MASSIVE gawkage, because Minneapolis is, apparently, a very sleepy town. And a bunch of people hanging out in formal wear and blood isn't something you see everyday (ie: L.A.). Pity.

-We were told earlier in the day there would be one line. 4:30 comes around and suddenly they opened up another line on the other side of the building. So people who showed up fifteen minutes ago were at the start of the line. Was a tad sketchy for a bit but we still claimed barrier. Awesome.

-Hung out. Partied with the opening bands. Agent Sparks was AMAZING. The Audition came out with blood on their faces, to honour the theme. June just rocked. End of story.

-30 comes out (eventually, though the wait wasn't that long). Show starts off with A Beautiful Lie (what else?) and then the rest of the show goes. I don't know the exact setlist but I do know that we heard (for certain): ABL, The Kill, The Fantasy, The Mission, From Yesterday, Capricorn, Buddha for Mary... and my brain died. Pity. I can't think.

-Bear wandered on stage. During June, while the bear was throwing "blood" (coloured water? fruit punch?) on the crowd the people behind me were bitching about that "fucking goddamned bear" because he'd gotten blood on their good shirts. Newsflash: IT'S A CONCERT. Don't wear good shirts. Duh.

-Bear hung out on stage. Molested Matt, molested Tomo (duh), harrassed Shannon and partied with Jared.

-Jared did part of Capricorn by himself. I'm pretty sure it wasn't the full song, but it was most of it.

-Tomo's guitar busted up, he got mad. Buck and... Danny (from The Audition) were out to try to fix it and when it still wouldn't work, Jared handed over his guitar, showed Tomo how to hold it and Tomo just grinned at him and they continued. The video of Attack above is my attempt at getting Tomo's singalong on tape. I don't know if you can see it all that well.

-Balloons. Kicking. Chats. The guys did the whole picture thing. Jared's usual comment of "Don't pull my dick off" while he was climbing back on stage. All that good stuff.

Then there's just random bus stuff. I'll have something more later (and probably more pictures) but.... I don't know. I still haven't showered. Maybe I'll go do that.

Friggin awesome time. I showed up with my Chicago Echelon T-shirt and bloodied myself up some before I got there, but the radio station 93x was there and some chick that was workin for them gave me bloody eyes that turned out great. During the show, that crazy bear came into the crowd and singled me out to pour half his damned bottle of blood on my head. I also got to show the guys my new tattoo that was based on the 30stm band logo. They really liked it, and Shannon took a picture of it on his own digital camera. Got my signed CD after the show too, which was excellent. As I was walking out, I met up with other Chicago Echelon and go to know them which was nice because I made the road trip by myself! We then waited by the tour bus and I got pics with each of the band members, although it's on someone elses camera and I'm waiting for them, and I got to talk to them. Jared got our opinions on what song should be the next single. It was between The Fantasy, A Beautiful Lie, or From Yesterday. He took a vote of who was there, and the consensus was From Yesterday. Here's all my pics. Can't wait to see them at again at Lollapalooza in Chicago!
